Our Managing Director, Hudson Robillard, is a Florida Board Certified Public Accountant. Hudson started his career in Public Accounting at Morrison, Brown, Argiz and Farra, LLC (MBAF), which is ranked nationally as a top 40 accounting and advisory Firm by Accounting Today. He spent eight years at MBAF providing audit and business consulting and participated in various special projects.
As a Manager in the Audit Department at MBAF, Hudson gained extensive experience and has been in the Public Accounting arena since 2005 providing services to entities in various industries including financial institutions (Community Banks), hospitality, non-profit and merchandising businesses. He is skilled in first time through audit engagements and providing audit services to privately held companies. He was primarily responsible for managing client relationships, engagement planning, budgeting, monitoring the process of audit engagements. He served as the liaison among principals, clients and staff by researching practice area issues and providing guidance.
In addition to performing internal audit risk assessments and validating the Allowance for Loans and Leases Losses methodology for various community banks, Hudson's industry insight and particular expertise were instrumental in the successful completion of many special projects. He has performed due diligence to assist investors in the acquisition of other banks per Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) recognition and measurement requirements. He has also reviewed recognition and measurement of acquired credit impaired loans (ACI), as well as non-credit impaired (ANCI) loans in accordance with Accounting Standard Codification (“ASC”) 310-30 & 20. He has also proven his command of evaluating the internal control effectiveness of client’s compliance with financial reporting pursuant to the requirements of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Improvement Act (FDICIA).
Hudson earned an Associate Degree from Miami Dade College in 2003 and a Bachelor Degree from Florida International University in 2005. He completed his graduate studies at Florida International University in 2008. He is a graduate of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) National Banking School from the McIntire School of Commerce, University of Virginia.

He is very active in the CPA profession and is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA). He serves on the FICPA Accounting Show Committee and the Young CPA Committee, 2013-2014. www.ficpa.org
